I love Sago and Gulaman...in any variety whether with or with out milk but anyway i am craving for it now this is sooo Filipino.
Just found out that Nescafe has a "SAMALAMIG CAMPAIGN"
Just as varied as Filipinos enjoy their warm cup of Nescafe Classic, there are also many ice-cold ways in which they can enjoy their favorite beverage. In our Emarke subject we, Marketing Major students has an assignment to look into the campaign and see how effective the campaign was, and also to suggest some strategies that would fit the said campaign.

As i see the commercial "SAMALAMIG" is very local that caters all walks of life people, this is a new improved nescafe samalamig that "ANYONE CAN ENJOY" but how can everyone will notice and be informed of this "SAMALAMIG" for me as a student i can easily suggest a SCHOOL TO SCHOOL TOUR since most of the market of "SAMALAMIG" are youth like me, Free Taste to every school, Free taste to every supermarket, and to Every malls and offices now a days call center people loves COFFEE to perk them up so now i am sure like I AM i will really appreciate it if they will do the FREE tasting and give samples to every SCHOOL,supermarket and call center offices. Another is just like the MILO did why not sponsor a FUN RUN since now a days RUNNING is one of the most advertised Sport as a member of SAMALAMIG NESCAFE Running Club...

One of the reasons why there are few companies in the Philippines who invest in e-Commerce is due to the perception that it is just a business structure and has not yet explored the idea of e-Commerce as a marketing tool.

In Marketing world, "change is inevitable"...Positioning is a must.

Well then, what is marketing really?
*a way to make people buy from you who ordinarily wouldn't?
*a way to shout down your competitors?
*a way to make your offer appear more valuable than it really is?
*a way to help people find inspiration in your brand and its products?

The Illusion of Retail
-Thought Experiment:at the mall
-how can we base a retail system on accidental discovery?
-what does it take to try something new?
Can you cause chocolate to outsell the champion with an email?
-Can a chocolate doughnut have social value?
Only if it is given as a gift from one PERSON to another.
-Conventional Promotion are not GIFTS.
-they are incentives for a customer to come in and possibly make a purchase.
-they are a communication from business to potential customer
-they have no social value
-in fact the implied purchase obligation makes many uncomfortable.

As a marketing major student we should learn and believe the fact that creating marketing programs that socially empower people, causing them to share your brand to others.

When we meet someone and fall in love, we have a sense that the whole universe is on our side. i saw this happen today as the sun went down. And yet if something goes wrong, there is nothing left! No herons, no distant music,not even the taste of his lips. How is it possible for the beauty that was there only minutes before to vanish so quickly?

Life moves very fast. It rushes us from heaven to hell in a matter of seconds.
